Trading Terms


Orders are accepted subject to availability of the product from the manufacturer/importer.


Only Failte and the customer making the order are the beneficiaries from the contract of supply.

Minimum Delivery

We reserve the right not to deliver an order that is valued at less than £30 (net sale value). An additional charge may be levied on orders below this amount.

Order Cut Off Times

Orders must be received before 4pm for next day delivery.
NB. Fresh Produce Orders MUST be placed by 12.30pm for next day delivery


Our drivers are NOT authorised to accept goods for return without the appropriate documentation.
Damaged goods may be returned for a full credit ONLY at the time of delivery.

Payment Terms

Strictly cash on delivery unless otherwise agreed with our credit control

Risk and Ownership

All risks associated with product passes to the purchaser on delivery. Ownership of goods delivered to the customer shall remain with Failte Foods until payment for the invoiced goods has been received in full.


The number of packages delivered must be checked in the presence of the driver. Claims for shortages should be made at the time of delivery but in any event claims must be made to our office on the day of delivery.


All goods offered for sale are warranted to be of the nature, substance and quality described and to comply with all statutory requirements relating to the sale of food (so far as is applicable to such goods).

Product Durability

Most food product with a life from manufacturer twelve months or less must by law be dated either by best before date or sell by date. As a company we endeavour to ensure all dated stock has an optimum remaining shelf life when we offer it for sale. Customers are advised to check the durability dates upon receipt. We are unable to accept returned products relating to date coding from our customers.


All items in this list are offered subject to availability. We reserve the right to alter prices without notice in the event of unforeseen market fluctuations, or in the event of pricing errors VAT will be charged at the appropriate rate
